« Samena »’s creek

Hi everyone,

I decided to consecrate several articles on creeks. That’s why during the next weeks, I will publish an article on each creek of Marseille.

Today, I decided to speak about one creek of Marseille, “Samena” creek! It’s a creek which is not really famous because it’s located at the end of a dead end. But it’s one of the first creeks on the “goude”’s road which lead us to “Callelongue” and “Cap croisette” and “goudes” village. From the road, you can enjoy of a very beautiful point of view.

In this creek, there is a shingle beach which is relatively narrow. The environment is very pleasant. You can practice swimming, snorkeling and kayaking. In front of the sea, in the creek, you can also discover a fish’s restaurant. Restaurant’s speciality is the “bouillabaisse”: I will speak about later. If you want to eat in this Restaurant, it’s better to come by night to admire the sunset.

For hobbyists of “Pétanque”, there is a ground near the creek, with a view of the sea:

For the followers of speaking of Marseille:

“Va te jeter aux goudes” means that you have to leave the place.
